The 48 HP CAT® turbo diesel engine provides up to two times more longevity than a traditional gas engine, and with a 72″ cutting deck, provides lasting power and ultimate efficiency in the most demanding conditions. The 72″ deck features a hydraulic deck lift that makes it easy to lift and lower the mower deck from 1.5″ to 6″ to achieve the optimal cutting height for the job at hand.
Ferris’s patented, next-generation suspension technology features coil-over shocks for all four wheels of the mower to deliver superior comfort, more precise tracing of the terrain, and an improved cut. The suspension system also utilizes automotive-style, independent front axles and innovative control arms to ensure that all four wheels remain in contact with the ground, regardless of the terrain, maximizing stability and traction on slopes, enhancing operator comfort, and improving cut quality.
The premium high-back suspension seat features adjustable suspension for an extensive range of weights and operating conditions, optimizing operator comfort and increasing productivity. The premium seat also features a headrest, armrests, adjustable lumbar support, and a seat reclining option to further customize the ride and enhance operator comfort.
The interactive onboard LCD display panel maintains and monitors the performance and operation of the mower for peak performance and ensures the proper engagement of safety interlock modules and mower components with visual fault indicators to extend the life of the belts and clutch.
The heavy-duty Warner Electric clutch and a right-angled Curtis© gearbox with dual 1″ shafts harness more horsepower for a smoother and faster operation.
The dual commercial-grade 21CC Hydro-Gear hydraulic pumps, along with the 20.6 cubic-inch Parker hydraulic wheel motors, maximize performance and durability for the drive system, and the external hydraulic oil cooler increases the longevity and durability of the hydraulic system.
