Ferris’s patented ForeFront™ Suspension Technology utilizes an automotive-style suspension system featuring an independent front axle and innovative control arms. This design ensures that the front wheels closely follow the contour of the terrain and remain in contact with the ground, regardless of the landscape. This maximizes stability and traction on slopes, enhances operator comfort, and improves cut quality.

The premium high-back suspension seat can be fully customized with adjustable suspension, armrests, lumbar support, and a seat reclining option. This further enhances operator comfort and increases productivity.

The heavy-duty dual commercial-grade Hydro-Gear® ZT-4400™ transaxles provide a top ground speed of 10 MPH. The quick-fill system makes hydraulic maintenance much easier, and the dual hydraulic reservoirs reduce the risk of cross-contaminating the oil in the transaxles.

Select models feature a 28 HP Briggs & Stratton® Vanguard® engine with Oil Guard™ Technology,  a revolutionary innovation with an external oil reservoir with a 6-quart capacity. This innovation extends the life of the oil and provides better protection for the engine. It extends the oil change interval from 100 hours to 500 hours, providing up to 60% savings on maintenance costs. Additionally, it features an easy-fill cap and an integrated oil filter directly inside the oil reservoir cap, making oil changes easier, cleaner, faster, and up to 80% more efficient. To add oil, simply open the easy-fill cap, pour a quart of oil through the filter screen, and return to work. The 28 HP Briggs & Stratton® Vanguard® engine also features Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) Technology, which delivers more consistent performance and reduces fuel consumption. The Engine Control Module (ECM) constantly monitors and fine-tunes every engine operating point thousands of times per minute. It processes signals from all engine sensors to make precise decisions on fuel and spark delivery, resulting in efficient, on-demand power for maximum performance at higher speeds and reduced fuel consumption.

If you don’t require the extra features of the Oil Guard™ System, the ISX2200 is also available with a 25.5 HP Kawasaki® engine and a 26 HP Kawasaki® engine with Electronic Fuel Injection Technology.

The ISX2200 has floating deck sizes of 52 and 60 inches, allowing for increased productivity without compromising comfort or the trusted Ferris cut quality.
